For the global Foods R&D Digital & Data Capability team we are looking for a Labelling Specialist Foods. In this role, you will support foods labelling data quality improvements and simplification, in line with ingredient specifications and labelling data generation tools in PLM (Product Information Records). You will review PLM labelling data according to available guidelines, execute corrective actions where applicable, and ensure foods labelling data compliance, to support company strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Co-define and apply Foods Labelling quality standards to meet requirements of business partners such as R&D, Marketing, Regulatory etc. Effectively drive its implementation among Foods R&D Globally;
- Identify existing and potential gaps in foods ingredient specification labelling data and drive improvements and simplification;
- Promote digital & data culture in Unilever R&D, being an ambassador of IT tools and digital processes;
- Manage your tasks' timelines in co-operation with the project leader and proactively communicate status and issues with project teams.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate has a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food law, or related fields, with at least 3 years of experience in ingredient and product specification management and foods labelling. As this role has a big focus on data, we are looking for someone who is IT savvy and has experience with Excel. Experience with PLM and/or Power BI is highly advantageous.

Department
The global Foods R&D Digital & Data Capability Team is the central team in Foods R&D to enable and lead the digital transformation of our organisation. Our core areas include:
- Systems expertise and user solutions in PLM, to drive data quality in our core ingredient and product specifications;
- Data engineering, visualisation, reporting, and data science to extract the maximum value from our data to support the Foods in-silico design agenda.
The capability team is working closely together with various teams across Foods R&D, including RDC/TDMO teams on product specifications and GDC/S&T/Capability teams on data science and models. They also collaborate with Digital R&D to improve system efficiency and data accuracy.
