Profile
As Sample and laboratory coordinator (Compound Management Assistant), you will be responsible for the storage and inventory management of Ambagon's complete compound library. Additionally, you will be processing and distributing compound sample requests (solids and solutions) from their scientists in both Eindhoven and Daly City (USA), enabling them to create drug candidates and therapies.Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the growing collection of compounds in both liquid and solid formats, including storage, barcoding, inventorying and database registration;
- Communicate effectively with scientists across the company regarding compound orders;
- Weighing, dissolving, packing and shipping requested compounds to R&D departments and their CRO’s;
- Create compound library sets and preparing assay ready plates using liquid handling instrumentation;
- Assist with waste management, shipments, consumables inventory and peptide/protein inventory.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering or a relevant field. Experience in a laboratory or drug discovery environment is required. Experience with laboratory automation and liquid handling robots is advantageous.Further qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and laboratory safety standards;
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a group;
- Good team skills; comfortable in an interdisciplinary and international environment;
- High standard of integrity.
