Interview with employee: Hanna Hanzha
Let’s meet Hanna!
Hanna Hanzha is working for CLS Services, in her role as Senior Associate Scientist at the Team of Bacterial Vaccines at Janssen. You might recognize her as the speaker on behalf of CLS Services at the BCF Career Event in 2023. Hanna: “That was my first time outside the Janssen company that I had to speak for such a large audience. I appreciate the opportunities CLS gives me. I am very happy working for CLS and do not have the urge to change.”
How did you get to know CLS Services?
“I applied for a vacancy on CLS’ website almost 6 years ago. I was living in Ukraine and determined to get a job in vaccine development. After my application I had an online interview with CLS. We had a good conversation and CLS arranged several interviews with people at Janssen. Within one month I received an offer. CLS was taking care of my visa and due to the holiday season two months after that, I started working at Janssen. And I still am.”
Why CLS?
“A lot of expat contractors complain about their recruitment companies: the lack of personal interest, the bad employment terms as paying late, waiting days, 70% payment by illness, 25 holidays etc., the long run before receiving answers and the difficulty in constantly talking to different people on any questions you have. At CLS you don’t have anything like that. They are supportive in everything that is needed. With their rather small team they act quickly, fair and are flexible. Just taking good care of their employees.”
What does secondment mean for you in practice?
“CLS takes care of everything. As they combine recruitment and HR in one organization, I only have one number to dial. I can reach them anytime and they try to arrange things as quickly as possible. I really value CLS; they are fast responders and very supportive to any challenge I face in life. Always contributing to my career and personal development, by offering coaching, flexible working arrangements or a good conversation.”
